Azerbaijan, Netherlands mull possibility of enhancing cooperation between business communities
05 July, 2010The Netherlands hosted a presentation of dynamic development and future prospects of the Azerbaijani economy organized by the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry, Dutch Foreign Ministry, the Azerbaijani embassy in the Netherlands, Dutch Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan Investment Company and the Council of the Netherlands to support trade.
The event was attended by representatives of business communities of both countries, as well as heads of diplomatic missions accredited to The Hague.
Deputy Secretary General of the Netherlands Foreign Ministry M.Van Dalen briefed participants on the successful development of bilateral relations between the two countries and the prospects for their expansion, in which the Netherlands is interested. Azerbaijani ambassador to the Netherlands, Fuad Isgandarov, spoke about the dynamic development of the country, informed the participants of the prospects of economic development and priority spheres.
Economic Development Ministry Apparatus head Samir Valiyev provided information on the economy of Azerbaijan, its attractiveness for investment, and creating a favorable business and investment environment. Valiyev invited the Dutch business community to take this opportunity to further develop relations with Azerbaijani entrepreneurs.
The event discussed enhancing cooperation between business communities of both countries.
